[Expression of Interest] Help shape programming for 2026 on academic and creative computing!

👋 I'm Anne Lee Steele, SSI Fellow 2026. This year, I'll be connecting between the worlds of academic and creative computing. This project connects computational and AI artists to research software engineering (RSE) best practices while also bringing creative and critical approaches to RSE work – especially important during what feels like a rampant crisis of imagination. This work is meant to be bi-directional, and is supported by the Software Sustainability Institute. To learn more, you're welcome to watch the uploaded project proposal. This form aims to do a few things: Gather a list of possible interviewees, participants and collaborators for the duration of this project Understand what topics and activities would be most valuable to both RSEs and artists Gauge interest in joining an alternative network (real name still pending!) of people in and around the worlds of academic and creative computing If you're outside of these spaces and just want to follow along, that's absolutely welcome too. This form should take approximately 10-15 minutes max.
