general politics, transphobia, the Ladybird Browser dev

@cubetMeuwu the ladybird browser is an independent browser initially made for a hobby operating system project known as SerenityOS.

This project eventually split off, with the intention of being cross-platform

As a result, it got funding by an org called FUTO, and high praise by many for being another upcoming independent browser engine project.

Not long after, a cishet person opened an issue on the Ladybird documentation, asking for mentions of
he/him be replaced with neutral pronouns. The maintainer (seen in the quoted posts) quickly shrugged this off as being "political infiltration" (or whatever the exact words were) and at the very least from that point on, the developer and project had been tainted by transphobic and generally right-wing rhetoric

The quoted posts exemplify this further.
