While VERY good news, let’s never ever ever forget that @linaHoshino Lina (星乃リナ) 🩵 3D Yuri Wedding 2026!!! and her GPU driver (which some kernel people seem interested in forgetting about and sweeping under the rug despite it being a very large percentage of the Rust code in the Linux kernel) was a very critical part of why Rust in the kernel was able to move beyond an experimental thing and into something that is critical to the kernel.
