I've been listening to an audio reading of howl's moving castle. normally the movie adaptations are different from the book but so far all the main plot points are the same, just truncated for the runtime. i was expecting the book to get a little more into the missing prince but apparently in both versions it's just some easily forgettable line that gets tossed in at the beginning. so i guess I'll see if it gets expanded later, because in the movie it feels like it just came out of nowhere.
