Has anyone else found that Windows Media Player is no longer finding album information when loading CDs?

It looks like this change may be intentional. I'd be interested in hearing if anyone else has run into the same issue.

Every new cd i put into media player displays all information as unknown. previously all information would be automatically added, im wondering if the systems are down or something. I read that they mightve ended the service but i havent seen anything…

Following up on this issue, for those running Linux, I found a user-friendly program that rips CDs into various formats (including FLAC), and will pull album information from an online database.

I just used it to rip and label audio tracks from 2 CDs, and it worked smoothly. #FreAC https://www.freac.org/
