Okay friends, be kind here, this is a vulnerable post!
I’ve been attending some art classes once a week to force myself to have some dedicated hours to relax. This is my first ever “anything” done on a canvas but it’s missing something and I don’t know exactly what to do. I know I’m missing the “eyelashes” of the Venus fly trap but… I am lost on what to do next. Any suggestions?

Canvas with two pots. One pot has a Venus fly trap where the traps are positioned as if they represent a human face. In the background, different colours break the section by looking like human noses which complements the traps into looking like human faces. Texture feels grainy and imperfect which is deliberate but it is missing some realistic details.
