On this day, five years ago, with Turkey’s support, Azerbaijan unleashed a horrific war that took the lives of more than 5,000 Armenian servicemen and left over 10,000 wounded.

The first victim of the 44-day war was 9-year-old Viktoria Gevorgyan. She was killed on September 27, 2020, in her backyard by azerbaijani shelling in Martuni, Artsakh.
