Trump claims Venezuela’s VP sworn in to replace Maduro

Trump has said Venezuela’s Vice President Delcy Rodriguez has been sworn in as president following Maduro’s capture by US forces.

There’s been no confirmation of the news in Venezuelan media.

Trump also said that Rodriguez, whose exact whereabouts are unknown, spoke to Marco Rubio and relayed a willingness “to do what we think is necessary to make Venezuela great again”.
