Sri Lankan Green Pit Viper (Craspedocephalus trigonocephalus), family Viperidae, endemic to Sri Lanka

Venomous.

Some herpetologists have recently proposed the scientific name Peltopelor trigonocephalus, based on some differences with other snakes in the genus Craspedocephalus.
