Chris Van Hollen, a US senator from Maryland, issued a blistering attack on the White House following the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti.

In a post, Van Hollen said President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, and Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller have “blood on their hands”.

“These killings are happening at their direction. They must be held accountable,” he said, adding federal funds for ICE need to be cut off.
