Like a wind

By the roadside, withered fruits hang from a hadakagi (tree stripped bare of leaves, with only branches remaining)

On a rice rack in the paddy field where the harvest is done, a bird wags its tail without singing

The leaves of Yanagi (Willow, the genus Salix) have fallen, the embankment is a lonely sight

Warashina-gawa (river) has grown narrower as the water level has dropped, and the sound of the water is faint
