Maduro is a phony socialist that's clinging to power with one hand and to Chavez' popular appeal with the other. The so called "Bolivarian Socialim" is but a form of populism that didn't touch private property nor advanced worker's control or anything like that.

Still, to call him an "iron hand dictator" is nothing but cheap propaganda. Look around, Jeanine Añez or Vilma Boluarte had way worse human rights violations, not to mention El Salvador's Bukele and his industrial prison complex.
