Pro Tip: if you need to boot your Mac in DFU mode, and you open https://support.apple.com/en-us/120694 to find the DFU port on your Mac, and you read "14-inch MacBook Pro with M4 or M5 chip: The rightmost USB-C port when you’re facing the left side of the Mac” please know this refers to the *base M4/M5” chip and not *any* M4/M5 family chip (like the M4 Pro and Max). For those, it's the usual port next to MagSafe.
