I was in Toronto last night to surprise my incredible mother, Michele Landsberg, as she received the Ursula Franklin award from Canadian Voice of Women for Peace.
At this horrifying moment of war and cascading violence in the world, it was so powerful to be in a room full of legendary peace activists, and to hear this clarion call for a world of collaboration instead of violent competition.
Ma - I'm unbelievably proud to be your son. You built my moral foundation, held firm by a fierce love for justice...and for each other. Happy IWD!
