Leader of the political party PKK, political prisoner Abdullah Öcalan, through a delegation of the DEM Party allowed to meet Öcalan, issued a "Call for Peace and a Democratic Society" calling on PKK to "gather your congress and take the decision to integrate with the state and society: all groups must lay down their arms, and the PKK must dissolve itself".
