그렇다면 혐중은 계엄을 옹호하는 진영, 또는 극우세력만의 언어일까. 수집된 텍스트는 그렇지 않다고 말한다.
탄핵을 촉구하고 내란을 규탄하는 게시물에도 ‘○○’는 어김없이 등장했다. “내란수괴를 그대로 놔두는 게 나라를 ○○처럼 만드는 길”, “○○ 사주받은 반국가세력이 이제 법원까지 침입하네”. 탄핵 반대 측이 상대를 중국인으로 낙인찍을 때, 탄핵 촉구 측도 같은 언어로 되받아쳤다. 정치적 입장은 정반대였지만, 중국인을 혐오하는 문법만은 공유했다.
