It's interesting how much of a difference the interface (client) for some service can make.

Before discovering @MonaApp I rarely used Mastodon just because I hated its web UI. These days I often use Mastodon a bit more than Bluesky mostly because I like desktop apps a bit more than pinned browser windows (or whatever).

Same with some IM apps - I used FB's Messenger a lot (don't judge me too hard, it's super popular in Bulgaria) until they killed its desktop app recently. But I'm old-school and prefer to do my typing on a real keyboard instead of a touch screen.
