Folks, it's a crime to put undocumented code on my own website on the internet?

Perhaps this is the kind of response I should expect from someone that sends cold emails titled "Just so you know". LOL

I think it's reasonable and right (as in, Just) to expect that software
produced in the year of our goddess 2026, developers should be deploying
compiled releases to, at bare minimum: x86 windows and linux, as binaries.

Quite truly, it is the literal absolute bare minimum.

I don't give back to projects that expect their status as open source to
grant them unlimited rights to the same corporate laziness and abuses
provided by saas and other technocrat made warez.

'one off little project'.
If that's all your code ever is to you, stop writing it and get off the
internet: Because you're not helping anyone, you're only in the way.

If you have a fediverse account, you can quote this note from your own instance. Search https://merveilles.town/users/bd/statuses/116022383016718729 on your instance and quote it. (Note that quoting is not supported in Mastodon.)
