its absolutely fascinating the the entire Jedi vibe that we have today, including a bunch of the lore, is the result of fans becoming accustomed to thinking of the ROTJ force ghost outfits as quintessentially Jedi, rather than as the equivalent of 1950s lounge robes as intended
