💡 Turns out, Cloudflare, NextDNS & other DNS providers have content-blocking DNS servers, so by pinging their server with a URL, you can see if it's been blocked:

I recently took advantage of this by writing a Node.js script that loops through a list of website URLs, blocked hosts get added to a new JSON file:

Screenshot of Node.js script that calls out resolver.setServers(), which can be used to override the DNS resolver of the script. Later in the script there is a check to see if a URL resolved to 0.0.0.0, which indicates it has been blocked.
