My oldest kid is approaching 17 and he's utterly uninterested in driving. Had to be coerced into getting his permit. Barely ever wants to practice. Doesn't really want to go anywhere. Likes being home.

I couldn't wait to drive. I drove pretty much the moment I could get away with it.
