In all seriousness, decorum is always used as a way to reinforce an extant power dynamic; it is used vigorously against those on the downside of the relationship, as a specific way to emphasize the disparity.
Policing others' fucking language and demanding that they fucking behave with absolute fucking politeness and - importantly, because this is an explicit part of etiquette and decorum - submission, is a specific technique to ensure that a dominance hierarchy remains in place, and that any objections to it can take place only at the specific, "gracious" permission of the rights-holder for that dynamic.
