Quiet public

If you're in a population-dense area of the US: do you know about the app Too Good To Go? It allows you to buy pre-made bags of overstocked food from restaurants and groceries at a reduced price. For example, today I got a half dozen bagels from a bougie deli for $5. It helps mitigate food waste and you get a good deal.
