バルドー先輩がチャーリー・カーク並みの差別主義者だったと言うのは本当で、今回訃報と代表作の映像などが流れて皆さん「やっぱり美しかったなぁ」とため息をつきつつ、手放しで惜しめない複雑な顔をしておられる（フランスでの個人的観察）。「動物のためにはいい人だったね」と言うコメントが圧倒的に多い。
