Fun Interrail quirk: the passes are based on calendar months, so a 1 month pass started on January 31st lasts for three days (1 before, two after) longer than a pass started on February 1st

An Interrail pass started on February 1st. It expires February 28th

An Interrail pass started on January 31st. It expires March 2nd
