@hongminhee洪民憙 (Hong Minhee) Hmm…you should take a look at Owncast. They do this already to authenticate to chat. It’s one option of several, you can also authenticate via IndieAuth. I’ll spin up a live stream and demo it if you’d like.

@hongminhee洪民憙 (Hong Minhee) Here's the process. The Owncast server sends a DM to the fediverse address you entered. A one time use code is sent. You enter that one time code and Owncast pulls your display name or username from the fediverse account and marks you as "Authenticated".
