How many thousands of times have I edited a script, then needed to run it at the command line prompt, and have painstakingly pasted or re-typed its name? I only just now conceived of creating a shortcut to type the filename of the most recently edited file in the current directory โ€” only to discover that it's already built-in to zsh! Wow!
