So, I made a mastodon account a while back but never got around to using it much. So, consider this to be an introduction to myself of some sorts.

I'm a software engineer, currently working in finance but based out of southern Ontario, Canada. I regularly participate in the C++ ISO committee, mostly hanging around the Library Working Group, helping craft the correct "standardese" to describe the standard library. I'm a huge fan of Unix-like systems, in particular FreeBSD. When I need to use Linux, I prefer Slackware.

Tech stuff aside I watch a lot of baseball, hockey, and american football, and do my best to be the best father and husband I can be.
