When I was doing my PhD I would facilitate undergraduate seminars. They had to do essays. I had to mark them. In the main, identikit both-sides roundups of the obvious points. Rarely a novel take in sight.

That was OK. They were undergraduates.

Endless streams of the same from 20 year senior engineers on the pros and cons of AI wasn’t what I had on my scorecard.

But here we are.

So boring.

I actually preferred nothing but editor configs and dot files.
