CBC News world live is having a good panel right now. Talking about whether this threatens Canadian sovereignty in an even bigger way…

Last input from the panel from a reporter out of Alberta, Canada is not under direct threat…. But Mexico probably is given Trump’s comments today.

This is not how I wanted 2026 to start, but unlike 2024 and 2025 which started variously bad for various reasons… 2026 has started in a bad, but very predictable, way.
