Bike rain capes versus bike rain jackets, a take: rain capes are great if it's actually raining seriously, but a jacket is much easier to deal with if it's only drizzling lightly off and on. This morning I threw on a jacket instead of the rain cape and it was the right choice IMHO, because a rain cape is more awkward and harder to manage if you don't (fully) need it.

But the only reason the jacket was an option was that Toronto is unusually cool today. (I packed the rain cape too in case.)
