I see that 10G-T network cable testers are still mostly in the "if you have to ask the price" range. Which is perfectly cromulent for professional networking gear, but does keep down the odds that we'll ever try to make our own 10G-T cables from cable spools, the way we make our 1G cables. (Yes we have a 1G cable tester. We buy pre-made 10G-T cables or make the university's contracted installers do the work and certify it.)
