AI/LLM cynicism

On the whole I suspect that businesses are just in denial about the likely effects of the EU CRA on them¹, but a part of me wonders if senior management's game plan is 'AI agents will fix all of this for us'. Replacing that pesky OSS with AI-agent-created software would be right up their standard 'get rid of labor' plan.

¹ It's sadly possible that EU governments will blink on the CRA and businesses that do nothing will turn out to have made the cheap choice.
