Of course the local cool independent supermarket¹ has a lot of panettone varieties (panettone recently got mentioned in my section of the fedi). I should have expected that, since they have a good selection of Italian stuff in general (not really a surprise, the now-deceased founder was Italian²). It's even within @gnomonBen Zanin biking range. Maybe someday I'll try some.
