What is now Cedarvale TTC (Eglinton West) has various signs up on the Crosstown buildings telling you they're a convenient way across Eglinton and the Allen to get to the TTC trains. Having tried them out recently, well, maybe. If you're coming from the west on the north side, it's probably not faster to meander through their depths than wait for the Allen light. From the west on the south side, yeah, sure, probably, since you have to cross two lights instead of one.
