I don't even- I can't- I JUST ranted about this 4 days ago. I JUST complained about how toxic this kind of behavior is. This is insanity. Cory Doctorow "isn't worth listening to" because even though he IS right about many things, and THEY ADMIT he is on their side about many things, he STILL doesn't go far enough?

What's next, "sorry, Socialism doesn't go far enough because the ACTUAL problem is any market-based economy"? What goes far enough? When does the purity spiral end? This should be eyebrow-raising behavior to anyone who cares about ACTUALLY FIXING THINGS instead of arguing about it until we're all killed by the LITERAL NAZIS running around. What is wrong with you?!

Is this a communication failure? Do people instead mean "Cory Doctorow is right, but we shouldn't stop there"?
