This is hilarious. I already won my long 2030 bet with Carmack on the 2030 SAE level 5 self driving cars; he essentially conceded as much in a recent email. (And I already told him, I'd also reciprocate and donate my $10k to the 501(c)3 of his choice as well because that's far more important to me than "winning".)

So y'all really think you're smarter than John Carmack on my future predictions? I'm not saying I'm the world's best futurist, but I am among the best in the world, without a doubt -- in my areas of expertise. And the whole LLM / Generative AI situation is one of them.

Talk is cheap. Any of you loudmouths wanna put your money where your mouths are on this, and take a long bet for $1m to charity on any of this? Just say the word. I'm fully DTF. Let's go.
