The last line of the example shows an error that the main actor isolated type cannot be passed to the demo function.

I nodded along when reading the overview and then expected a different outcome in the end. Would love to know what goes on in your head there

A type whose metatype can be shared across arbitrary concurrent contexts without introducing a risk of data races. When a generic type conforms to , its metatype conforms to . All concrete types implicitly conform to the protocol, so its primary purpose is in generic code to prohibit the use of isolated conformances along with the generic type.
