@RecurringBloatware One month from now will be a decade since that post, hm? I should really write a reply to my post. https://dustycloud.org/blog/javascript-packaging-dystopia/

In short: everything I put in that post was true, I think, and has gotten worse since.

I think a blogpost about why things were so bad and why the fundamental issue hasn't been solved, along with how to solve it, might be worthwhile. What do you think?
