Erin Reed has a nice piece about reasons for hope in terms of trans rights going into 2026 despite things also being bad https://www.erininthemorning.com/p/the-case-for-hope-transgender-rights

And as for me... it's hard to tell how I feel. I def think things are less scary than they were post the Kirk shooting. And maybe anti-trans stuff is a losing strategy and the conservative coalition is crumbling?

But also, the FDA is sending threatening letters to manufacturers and distributors of *binders* of all things....
