LLMs in their current form will absolutely in no way lead to an overall democratization of software development. The central rent-seeking characteristic of this industry is attempting to do the exact opposite. If you believe you can somehow get around this, you are invited to look at the entire history of capitalism.

These are middlemen attempting the mother of all enclosure operations.
