A spectacular red and green aurora borealis is lighting up the starry sky above a line of conifers.#photography #mountains #Vosges #NightPhotography

A conifer-covered ridge line emerges against the last evening light, while the upper sky is already dark and revealing the first stars.#photography #landscape #LandscapePhotography #mountains #Schwarzwald #clouds #CloudInversion

About ten successive layers of wooded hilltops separated by seas of shiny white clouds trapped in the valleys under a blue sky.

This is in the Black Forest, a large forested mountain range in southwest Germany.#photography #landscape #mountains #Scotland #Skye

The Old Man of Storr, a 55-meter-high basalt pinnacle, on a sunny day with a few clouds, looking out to sea over an island and then beyond to shores and mountains.
A small group of hikers can be seen at the bottom of the photo, giving a better idea of the scale.
