The new Pixelfed UI uses our next generation APIs that better fit our platform.

The MastoAPI has been useful to Pixelfed so we could support 3rd party apps, however it's not quite suited for our use case.

That being said, we don't plan on dropping MastoAPI support anytime soon, and if we do, will give a 1 year phase out warning.
