can somebody explain to me why the format used by TikTok, Youtube Shorts, Loops, whatever is popular?

@ariadneAriadne Conill 🐰 curated relevant content that is more human than text only feeds. It’s more engaging to respond to a comment with a video and the comment super imposed in the video for example.

I wrote a For You algorithm that is really popular on Loops because people love content they are interested in.

Tl;dr: video is more authentic than text, seeing the person and emotion with video makes it more engaging.
