It was wild.
For a few weeks, pixelfed.social was the largest fediverse server by MAU, even bigger than mastodon.social
We also launched our Kickstarter campaign a few days later, and I'll never forget the stress.
It was so cool to see my project go viral, but I was too stressed to do interviews or anything else than try to put out fires.
Protip: Build a team, it's hard to do everything yourself.

Loops was also growing rapidly during this period, and I had to deal with that too.
Man, 2025 was such a crazy but special year.
I gave my first public talk (which ended up being the keynote) at FediCon in July
Then I rewrote Loops and open sourced it in the fall of 2025.
