21 years ago I "borrowed" my parents credit card to sign up for shared hosting and buy a domain during my BoonEx Dolphin era.

19 years ago (2007), I used my own credit card after turning 18 to start my own social network for our high school using BoonEx Dolphin. It was called iDope lol and had a few hundred users.

8 years ago, I started Pixelfed and started a journey to build my own social network from scratch.

I never thought I'd ever build one myself.

And now I'm living that dream! 🚀
