I'll never forget the time, late 1990s, when my dad got into a friendship-ending politics fight with one of his friends at the kitchen table. The other guy said Reagan was the greatest US president. My dad was completely taken aback -- obviously the greatest US president was Nixon. It escalated to yelling and they never spoke again.
