Domino's has round pizza. Comes in a square box. Domino's has square pizza. Comes in a rectangular box with a divider inside to stop the square from sliding around.
The best designed Apple product of all time is the pizza box at their internal cafe:
- It is round, the pizza does not slide.
- It is sufficiently rigid that you do not need a little table to hold up the lid.
- You can take off the lid and stack them, without the base of one box touching the pizza below. One person can easily carry ten pizzas like this.
- It is easy to recycle.
- The lid can be removed and used as a plate.
They could have made a lot more money commercialising this than they will ever make from Apple Intelligence.
