Remember back in 2023/24 when there were all those debates about quote-toots? Some people said Mastodon had to have them or it would die. Others said it'd bring such negativity to the site that it would die.

Kinda surprised the “never use it” crowd is currently tops. Wonder how much of that is lag in getting the feature into clients?
