I read a lot and enjoy reading, but I'm probably not a very good reader. I think that a really good reader read about everything, no matter the topic, if the quality of the writing compensates it. But that is not my case. The topic should be interesting, too.

For instance, I began a book by Gustavo Faverón, a Peruvian writer, highly praised, and perhaps the best writer from Peru after the death of Mario Vargas Llosa. The quality of Faverón writing was remarkable, I guarantee it, but the story wasn't interesting to me.
